British line-up for Wimbledon 2024 takes shape

Multiple Grand Slam Champions, LTA Player Pathway players and rising junior talent all feature among the list of British players set to compete at The Championships Wimbledon in 2024.

40 players are now confirmed to be included in the draws across 11 events, with The All England Lawn Tennis Club (AELTC) today announcing the allocation of wild cards for singles, doubles and qualifying.

With Jack Draper, Cam Norrie, Dan Evans and Andy Murray already confirmed as direct entries, it was announced earlier today by the AELTC that Liam Broady, Billy Harris, Jan Choinski, Arthur Fery, Jacob Fearnley, Paul Jubb and Henry Searle have been awarded wild cards into the singles main draw.  

Wimbledon qualifying wild cards have been awarded to Charles Broom, Jay Clarke, Felix Gill, George Loffhagen and Jack Pinnington Jones. Ryan Peniston and Oliver Crawford also feature on the qualifying entry list.

Emma Raducanu, Heather Watson, Lily Miyazaki and Francesca Jones are the four British women who have received wild cards to join Katie Boulter and Harriet Dart in the main draw. Qualifying wild cards for Emily AppletonAmarni BanksSonay Kartal, Hannah Klugman, Mika Stojsavljevic and Emily Appleton have also been confirmed today.  

LTA 18U Lexus Junior Nationals champions Oliver Bonding and Mimi Xu automatically receive qualifying wild cards by virtue of winning each event. Two additional places in both the men’s and women’s qualifying will be awarded to the finalists from the Wimbledon Wild card Play Offs taking place later this week. 

Meanwhile, members of the LTA’s Wheelchair Elite programme, Alfie Hewett, Andy Lapthorne, Gordon Reid, and Lucy Shuker assured of vocal home support as they lead the British challenge in the wheelchair and Quad events, wheelchair wild cards will follow in due course.
