Jack Draper, Emma Raducanu & Sonay Kartal lead the way for LTA Player of the Year nominees

It has been a year of highs and lows for British players who have given us some moments to remember on the WTA, ATP, ITF and UNIQLO Wheelchair Tennis Tours and now it’s time to cast your votes for your favourite.
The vote form part of the LTA Awards, presented by Lexus, rewarding the incredible achievements and contributions of people in tennis and padel across Britain.
The 2026 LTA Awards, presented by Lexus - Player of the Year highlights and acknowledge the British players who had standout performances during the 2025 season.

Female Player of the Year

- Beat the American duo of Amanda Anisimova and Emma Navarro to reach the quarter-finals at the WTA 1000 tournament in Miami in March.
- Played some great tennis to reach the quarter-finals at the HSBC Championships at The Queen’s Club, with her run ended by No.1 seed Zheng Qinwen.
- Contested a memorable match against World No.1 Aryna Sabalenka in the third round at Wimbledon and then had another tight battle against Sabalenka in a three-set defeat at the Cincinnati Open in August.
- On course to achieve her goal of securing a seeded position for the Australian Open in January.
- After ending 2024 at No.152 in the world rankings, Jones finished 2025 well inside the top 100 and achieved a career-high ranking of No.71 in October.
- Won W75 Vacaria Open in Brazil in March and backed that up by winning the W75 event in Prague in May, beating No.2 seed Ena Shibahara in the final.
- Won WTA125 Grand Est Open 88 in Contrexéville, France, in July and then the WTA125 event in Palermo, Italy, to close in on the top 100 of the WTA Rankings.
- After coming through qualifying to reach the main draw at the US Open, she made that breakthrough into the top 100. She then cemented her position with a run to the semi-finals of the WTA 250 event in Sao Paolo, Brazil, in September
- After finishing 2024 at No.84 in the WTA Rankings, Kartal broke into the top 50 for the first time and reached a career-high ranking of No.44 after a thrilling run to the fourth round at Wimbledon, which included a win over No.20 seed Jelena Ostapenko.
- Reached the last 16 of the WTA 1000 event at Indian Wells in March, with that run including a victory against No.16 seed Beatriz Haddad Maia.
- Won both of her singles matches in the Billie Jean King Cup tie against the Netherlands in April as Great Britain qualified for the finals.
- Ended the year on a high with a run to the quarter-finals at the WTA 1000 China Open, with the 7-5, 2-6, 7-5 victory against world No.5 Mirra Andreva, the highest ranking win of her career so far.
Male Player of the Year

- After a challenging start to the season, Norrie bounced back impressively to finish the year back in the top 30 of the ATP Rankings.
- Won three matches at the French Open before losing against Djokovic in the last-16 at Roland Garros. He then enjoyed his best run of the year at a Grand Slam by reaching the quarter-finals at Wimbledon, losing to Carlos Alcaraz.
- Won both of his matches for Great Britain against Poland in the Davis Cup in September.
- Beat world No.1 Alcaraz at the Paris Masters before ending his year with a run to the final at the ATP 250 event in Metz.
- After ending 2024 at No.15 in the ATP ranking, Draper broke into the top 10 for the first time by winning the ATP 1000 title at Indian Wells in March. His run to that prestigious title included wins against Taylor Fritz, Ben Shelton, Carlos Alcaraz in the semi-finals and Holger Rune in the final.
- Showed his qualities on clay courts with a thrilling run to the Madrid Open final, losing out against Casper Ruud in three tight sets.
- Reached the last-16 at the French Open before making it through to the semi-finals of the HSBC Championships at The Queen’s Club.
- Opened his year with a win against Nick Kyrgios at the Australian Open, starting a run to the third round in Melbourne that was ended by Alexander Zverev.
- Won his first match representing Great Britain in the Davis Cup, beating Japan’s Kei Nishikori.
- Reached the third round at the French Open, losing against compatriot Cam Norrie and then made it through to the quarter-finals at the HSBC Championships at the Queen’s Club, where he was halted by eventual finalist Jiri Lehecka.
- After finishing 2024 at No.99 in the ATP Rankings, Fearnley reached a career-high of No.49 in June.
Doubles Player of the Year

- Started the year in sparkling fashion by winning the Australian Open title with partner Harri Heliovaara.
- Lost out to the in-form combination of Cash and Glasspool in the semi-finals of the HSBC Championships at The Queen’s Club before losing to the same British duo in the quarter-finals at Wimbledon.
- Won the ATP 500 title in Beijing and backed that up with a win in the ATP 1000 tournament in Paris.
- Patten and Heliovaara won the ATP Finals title in Turin, beating the British duo Neal Skupski & Joe Salisbury in the final.
- Jodie Burrage and Katie Boulter produced a superb doubles performance to help Great Britain beat the Netherlands 2-1 and seal the team’s place in September's Billie Jean King Cup Finals.
- Boulter and Burrage, a late switch for doubles specialist Olivia Nicholls and Harriet Dart, beat Demi Schuurs and Suzan Lamens 6-2, 6-2 on the clay. Boulter had earlier suffered a 6-4 6-3 loss to Lamens.
- The women were playing together for only the second time, having practised as a partnership in the build-up to the competition. The victory was a testament to their teamwork and determination.
- A run to the final in Doha kick-started the season for the British duo, with a run to the ATP 500 event on clay in Barcelona halted by Sander Arends and Britain’s Luke Johnson.
- Reach the final of the French Open, losing narrowly against Marcel Granollers and Horacio Zeballos.
- Reached the final of the ATP 1000 tournament in Canada before losing narrowly again against Granollers and Zeballos in the US Open final, after having three championship points in the match.
- Ended the season with a run to the ATP Finals in Turin, losing against Patten and Heliovaara in the final.
- The pairing started the year with a win at the ATP 250 tournament in Brisbane, before they reached the quarter-finals at the Australian Open.
- After winning another title in Doha with victory in the final against Neal Skupski and Joe Salisbury in February, they reached the final at the ATP 1000 tournaments in Miami and Monte-Carlo.
- A stunning grass court season included wins at the HSBC Championships at the Queen’s Club, the Lexus Eastbourne Open and then a memorable win at Wimbledon, becoming the first all-British team to win the title in 89 years.
- Concluded their best year on the tour by being crowned as the first all-British doubles pair to finish year-end world No. 1.
- Reached the mixed doubles semi-finals at the Australian Open with British partner Henry Patten, defeating top seeds Andrea Vavassori and Sara Errani in the second round.
- Made it through to her first WTA 1000 final at Indian Wells with partner Tereza Mihalikova, before the duo won the WTA 500 title at the Berlin Open in June, giving Nicholls her first career title at that level.
- Reached the semi-finals of the WTA 1000 tournament in Wuhan with Mihalikova, after reaching the quarter-finals in Beijing the week before.
- Finished the season with a WTA Ranking of No.26.
Wheelchair Player of the Year

- Started the year by winning the Australian Open singles title, beating world No.1 Tokito Oda 6-4, 6-4 in the final. Also won the doubles title in Melbourne with long-time partner Gordon Reid
- Secured a sixth consecutive French Open doubles title in a row with Reid, beating Stephane Houdet and Tokito Oda 6-4, 1-6, 10-7 in a thrilling final at Roland Garros.
- Won the Lexus British Open Roehampton singles title after beating Gustavo Fernandez 2-6, 6-4, 6-4, while also winning doubles at that event with Reid.
- Lost out in the singles finals at Roland Garros and Wimbledon to Oda before winning the inaugural wheelchair men’s singles title at the Paris Masters in November after coming through an all-British final against Gordon Reid.
- Started the year in style by winning the Australian Open quad doubles title alongside Sam Schroder, beating Guy Sasson and Niels Vink 6-1, 6-4 in the final.
- Played his part in the Lexus GB quad team that won bronze at the 2025 World Team Cup.
- Clinched a singles victory on grass courts at the Lexus Eastbourne Open by beating No.2 seed Ahmet Kaplan 7-5, 4-6, 6-2 in the final.
- Crowned quad doubles champion at the French Riviera Open with Australia's Heath Davidson, as the pair won their first title together.
- Clinched another Australian Open title with Alfie Hewett in January, beating Daniel Caverzaschi and Stephane Houdet 6-2, 6-4 in the final.
- Claimed a remarkable 29th Grand Slam title as he teamed up with Hewett to win the French Open in June.
- Won the Lexus British Open Roehampton doubles title with Alfie Hewett after beating Martin de la Puente and Ruben Spaargaren 6-0, 6-2.
- Finished runner-up to Hewett in the Paris Masters singles title, losing out 7-5, 6-7(4), 6-0 in a thrilling final.
- Reached his first Grand Slam final with Donald Ramphadi at Wimbledon, where the pair finished runners-up to Guy Sasson and Niels Vink 6-0, 6-2.
- Won back-to-back singles titles on home soil in February after clinching the Bolton Indoor ITF 2 and ITF 3 Wheelchair Tennis Tournaments.
- Played his part in the Lexus GB quad team that won bronze at the 2025 World Team Cup.
- Clinched victory in front of the British fans as he won the Lexus Eastbourne Open doubles title with Andy Lapthorne, beating Oliver Cox and Gary Cox 6-1, 6-1 in the final.
