Coach Development Centre

4 MINUTE READ

A map of Britain showing the coach development centres

LTA Coach Development Centre (CDCs) sit at the heart of tennis and padel coach education in Great Britain.

Each CDC has the responsibility of running courses in their assigned counties. This includes delivering qualifications (Levels 1-3), workshops, Coach Forums, first aid courses, and safeguarding courses.

Having a CDC deliver courses locally means that they can tailor the courses on offer to coaches in their region. A CDC’s role is to provide dedicated support to coaches in their area and provide local, expert training for current and aspiring coaches.

For more information, please view our Course Providers page. If you are currently undertaking a qualification course and you have been notified your provider is no longer delivering courses in 2026, please see here for details on who to contact.
