'It's Really Given Me a Purpose' - Watch Beyond the Baseline, Presented by Lexus Episode Six
The sixth episode of our tennis documentary series, Beyond the Baseline, presented by Lexus is here and this week, we’re witnessing the conclusion of the grass court season, while a host of British wheelchair stars head to compete for the World Team Cup title.
The final episode of the series sees us head to Portugal for the World Team Cup – the equivalent of the Davis Cup or Billie Jean King Cup – where we are introduced to rising wheelchair tennis star, Ben Bartram. The 17-year-old was selected to represent Great Britain alongside idol and world No.1 Alfie Hewett and Gordon Reid as they prepare to hunt down the title.
Back on home soil, Billy Harris highlights the struggles of his early tennis career – discussing his memories of travelling around Europe on the junior circuit in a converted van, while Arthur Fery reflects on his memorable Centre Court debut at The Championships, Wimbledon where he took on world No.3 Daniil Medvedev in front of his family and friends.
The documentary series shines a spotlight on 10 Performance players in British tennis who are rising the rankings, with every episode showcasing the highs and lows of striving for success, the dedication that goes into training and on-court action throughout the summer season.
