Edinburgh is home to 34 tennis venues, including several park sites, and boasts 152 accessible tennis courts for players so you can perfect your skills. A vast number of these courts are readily available for players to book through LTA Rally, either as pay to play or even free to book courts.

The Advantage Tennis programme, mainly based at the Craiglockhart Tennis Centre, also provides fantastic opportunities for players to get involved with disability tennis. The LTA is helping players of all skill levels and ages take the first, or next, step in improving their game. There are some fantastic LTA accredited coaches in the Edinburgh area providing lessons, with many of them holding a Level 4 qualification.

For kids aged 4-18, the LTA Youth programme is a fantastic introduction to the sport and helps develop key skills both on and off the court. With 6 different stages, starting with Youth Start, the programme develops with the player, keeping it fresh and exciting the whole way through. Edinburgh plays host to the Scottish Junior Open and Edinburgh Junior International every year, which both take place the first two weeks of the Scottish Summer holidays at Craiglockhart Tennis Centre.
