When is the Cincinnati Open 2026?
The Cincinnati Open gets underway on Tuesday 11 August and runs until Sunday 23 August.
Qualifying takes place between 11 and 12 August, with the main draw action kick-starting on Thursday 13 August.
The day sessions begin at 16:00 UK time, while the night session starts at 23:00.
Where is the Cincinnati Open taking place?
First played in 1899, the Cincinnati Open is hosted at the Lindner Family Tennis Centre in Mason, Ohio, USA.
Now in its 127th year, the tournament welcomes nearly 200,000 fans every year for its combined WTA & ATP 1000 events and is one of the highlights of the tennis calendar.
The grounds have four tennis stadiums – including its centre court with a capacity of 11,400.

In the 2025 Cincinnati men's singles final, Carlos Alcaraz was crowned champion after world No.1 Jannik Sinner was forced to retire 5-0 down in the first set. He later went on to defeat Sinner in the US Open just a couple of weeks later - claiming his second title in New York.
Iga Swiatek beat Jasmine Paolini 7-5, 6-4 to lift the title without dropping a set.

Which British players are competing at the Cincinnati Open 2026?
Three British women’s players have direct entry into the singles main draw at the Cincinnati Open, including Emma Raducanu, Katie Boulter and Sonay Kartal.
Boulter will be hoping to reignite her form ahead of the fourth Grand Slam of the season. The British No.1 will be hunting down a first main draw win since reaching the semi-finals at the HSBC Championships back in June.
Arthur Fery, Cam Norrie, Jan Choinski and Jack Draper all have direct entry into the men’s singles draw this year. The Cincinnati Open will mark Fery's first tournament since his unforgettable run to the semi-finals at Wimbledon last month. The 24-year-old began the grass court season ranked world No.154 and surged into the world’s top 40 for the first time - giving him the opportunity to compete at the biggest tournaments on the ATP Tour.
Fery will make his Cincinnati debut next week where he will look to pick up where he left off on the court. He'll be joined by Norrie who has been in electric form so far during the US hard court swing.
Norrie made the semi-finals in Los Cabos and built on that momentum heading into the National Bank Open where he knocked out fourth seed Alex de Minaur on his way to reaching the fourth round. The 30-year-old will be hoping to carry his winning form heading into Cincinnati.
Choinski will also be making his Cincinnati debut following an impressive run of form over the past few months. The British No.3 has climbed to a career-high ranking of world No.77 after picking up two ATP Challenger titles in July.
Meanwhile, Draper - who has been awarded a wild card to the main draw - will continue his return from injury at the tournament where he reached the quarter-finals two years ago.
There's also plenty of Brits set for doubles action at the combined ATP and WTA event. On the women's side, Maia Lumsden will be targeting a maiden WTA 1000 title following back-to-back WTA 250 victories, while Olivia Nicholls is also on the entry list.
There's a wealth of British interest in the men's doubles draw with Henry Patten, Julian Cash, Joe Salisbury, Lloyd Glasspool and Neal Skupski all set to contest the title.
Past British champions at the Cincinnati Open
British players have enjoyed success in the doubles events in recent years. Jamie Murray captured the crown in 2018 with Brazilian partner Bruno Soares and also finished runner-up on three occasions (2017, 2020 and 2023).
Salisbury is the most recent British champion at the event, after he teamed up with America's Rajeev Ram to take home the silverware in 2022 - defeating Tim Putz and Michael Venus 7-6(4), 7-6(5) in the final.
