Patten & Heliovaara win second title of 2026
The Qatar ExxonMobil Open saw a British clash in the men’s doubles final – with two of the world’s leading ATP doubles pairs going head-to-head.
Henry Patten and Finnish partner Harri Heliovaara came through as champions after beating GB Davis Cup duo Julian Cash and Lloyd Glasspool 6-3, 6-3 in the final.
Patten and Heliovaara continued their impressive run since the end of last season – they have now won four of their last fine tournaments (Rolex Paris Masters, Nitto ATP Finals, Adelaide International and Qatar ExxonMobil Open).
The two-time Grand Slam title-winners now have two titles on the season already and are joint world No.8 in the ATP rankings.
This was the second meeting in an ATP final between the two teams since the start of 2025 – Patten and Heliovaara winning at the Paris Masters – but Cash and Glasspool still lead the head-to-head 4-2.
