International Junior Grant

What is the International Junior Grant?
The International Junior Grant (formerly NAGP 16U), provides a range of support to a select group of players normally aged between 14 – 16 who are not at the Loughborough University National Tennis Academy (LUNTA), nor are receiving NAGP 14U or Pro Transition Programme (PTP) or Pro Scholarship Programme (PSP) scholarships. The International Junior Grant (IJG) has several components of support with the scholarship being one element.
Those selected for the programme are eligible for:
- A funding grant of between £5,000 and £20,000
- Regular visits from a designated LTA National Coach to understand and support the implementation of an IDP and competition schedule
- Targeted Sports Science/Sports Medicine profiling and programme guidance
- Access to the National Tennis Centre (NTC) facilities in line with the NTC Access Policy
The IJG aims to support the development of those 16U players with the highest potential for international junior success and to transition onto the Pro Tour.
