Every month, three players will be nominated for each of the following categories:

  • Men’s singles
  • Women’s singles
  • Doubles
  • Wheelchair

Men's singles

  • Came through qualifying to eventually make the final at the Mouilleron le Captif Challenger – finishing runner-up
  • Quarter-final finish at the Brest Challenger
  • Defeated former top 10-star David Goffin
  • New career-high ranking at world No.269

Billy Harris

  • Made it through to back-to-back ATP Challenger semi-finals in Hamburg and Ortisei
  • Quarter-final appearances at Challenger events in Alicante and Malaga
  • Claimed career-best win and first top 50 victory against Roberto Bautista Agut
  • Rose 70 places in a month to world No.234

Felix Gill

  • Won his first ITF $25k title at the M25 Zaragoza without dropping a set
  • Backed it up by winning a second at the M25 Santa Margherita di Pula
  • 10-1 winning record in October
  • Career-high ranking at world No.370

Women's singles

Amarni Banks

  • Battled through to her first W100 final in Shrewsbury – beating the second, fourth and eight seed along the way
  • Career-best win over France’s Oceane Dodin
  • Second round at W60 Glasgow and W25 Reims
  • New career-high ranking at world No.309

Hannah Klugman

  • Youngest player to ever qualify for a W100 event at the event in Shrewsbury
  • The 14-year-old made the W100 Shrewsbury quarter-finals – pushing second seed Dodin to three sets
  • Reached the quarter-finals at the W60 Glasgow

Mingge Xu

  • 16-year-old Xu came through qualifying to reach the semi-finals at the W60 Glasgow
  • Defeated fellow Brits Isabelle Lacy, Klugman and world No.178 Gabriela Knutson

Doubles

Joe Salisbury

  • Champion at the ATP Vienna for a third time in his career
  • Won three match tie-breaks en route to the title
  • Second round at the Rolex Shanghai Masters

Jodie Burrage

  • Won the biggest title of her career at the Transylvania Open with Jil Teichmann
  • Knocked out top seeds Alycia Parks and Elena Gabriela Ruse
  • Reached new doubles career-high at world No.154

Julian Cash

  • Reached a final in every week of October
  • Won three ATP Challenger titles in Mouilleron le Captif, Malaga and Brest
  • Made the final of the ATP 250 Stockholm with Yuki Bhambri – finishing runner-up
  • Broke into the ATP doubles top 50

Wheelchair

Lucy Shuker

  • Won the ITF 1 Catalonia Open women’s doubles with Maria Florencia Moreno
  • The title marked her fourth ITF 1 trophy of the season

Alfie Hewett

  • Finished runner-up in the Calatlonia Open singles to Gustavo Fernandez
  • Reached but lost the doubles final at the Catalonia Open with Gordon Reid

Andrew Penney

  • Crowned champions at the International Wheelchair Tenis Porto men’s doubles with Joshua Johns
  • Runner-up at the Abingdon Futures men’s doubles with Dermot Bailey
  • Singles semi-finalist in Abingdon as well
