This year, the Lexus GB World Team Cup Team will compete in each of the men’s, women’s, quad and junior events and will join Brazil, Colombia and Japan as the only four nations contesting all four World Team Cup competitions.

All three players have been part of medal-winning junior teams in recent years.

Meanwhile, the women’s team once again marries experience with youth as British No.1 Lucy Shuker and Cornelia Oosthuizen are joined by Ruby Bishop.

Britain’s quad team will be led by Paris 2024 quad doubles silver medallists Andy Lapthorne and Greg Slade, with Gary Cox selected to make his second successive World Team Cup appearance.

Ruben Harris, named LTA Junior Wheelchair Player of the Year at the recent LTA Tennis Awards presented by Lexus, was a member of the Great Britain team that won the World Team Cup junior title in 2023 and this year he is joined in a four-strong team by Will Barton, Lucas de Gouveia and Matthew Knoesen, all members of the LTA’s National Age Group Programmes.
