County Tennis Championships
Welcome to one of the biggest junior competitions in Great Britain – the Junior County Championships.
Each year, thousands of players of all ages and abilities come together on the last week in August to compete against other juniors from their county. The prize at stake? The chance to be crowned county champion.
County Championships week is the busiest in our tournament calendar and there’s plenty to get involved with both on and off the court, such as family doubles events, BBQs and much more.
Anyone can enter their local Junior County Championships – it doesn’t matter your age, ability or background – this competition is for everyone. The competition is only restricted by the county that you live in – this means you can only enter your local County Championships.
With events from 8U up to 18U for boys and girls in both singles and doubles there are plenty opportunities for you to play and improve your skills.
All the Junior County Championships tournaments always take place in the same week in August (25 - 31 August 2024).

To enter the Junior County Championships, just follow these simple steps:
- Sign up to Advantage to get your ITF World Tennis Number.
- Search for your nearest Junior County Championships here.
- Select which event you want to enter.
- Complete the online entry process.
- Then you’re all set and ready to go – it’s that easy.
All results from Junior County Championships matches will go towards improving your ITF World Tennis Number.
