Supporting women and girls at your venue

Women and girls represent one of the largest opportunities for growing participation in tennis and padel. Across the country, venues are finding success by creating welcoming environments, offering tailored opportunities and ensuring women and girls see themselves represented in the sport.
The good news is that many improvements do not require significant investment. Small changes to programming, communications and member engagement can have a significant impact on participation and retention.
Explore the resources below to help your venue attract, engage and retain more women and girls.
She Rallies Plan
In June 2022, we published our She Rallies Ambition, setting out a challenging long-term aim to make tennis and padel in Great Britain gender equal across all areas of our work. This ambition is central to our overall vision - ‘Tennis Opened Up’ - and is at the heart of everything we do.
The next phase of our She Rallies plan builds on the foundations we have laid and aligns with our business strategy and Equity, Diversity and Inclusion plan – ensuring that inclusion remains embedded in the way we grow and develop tennis and padel for women and girls across Great Britain.
Women & Girls Toolkit
We've created a Women & Girls Toolkit to help venues build an inclusive environment for women and girls. This toolkit offers resources and insights to better understand and meet the needs of women and girls in tennis - making our sport welcoming and enjoyable for all.
We’ll continually update it to ensure these resources evolve, supporting gender equality and fostering a welcoming space for all.

Female coach grants
We offer a range of support and funding for women looking to get into or develop their career in coaching that are focused on growing the number of female coaches in the sport. These include free female taster sessions, discounted training opportunities and mentoring sessions.
