Men’s: Bartram and Ward lead Brits to bronze

Ben Bartram and Dahnon Ward, both members of last year’s gold medal-winning team, guided the Brits to a 2-0 victory over France in this year's bronze medal play-off.

With the bronze medal on the line, Ward showed little signs of nerves as he got proceedings off to the perfect start with a 6-3, 6-3 victory over Geoffrey Jasiak.

It was then over to Bartram who faced a tough challenge in Gaetan Menguy. After a tight opening set, the 19-year-old Brit went on to wrap up yet another victory for his country - winning 7-5, 6-3 to claim bronze for the British men in Turkey.

Quad: Paralympic medallists Lapthorne and Slade secure doubles win for GB

The Lexus GB quad team were faced with a tough challenger in the form of Australia but eventually came through in a 2-1 victory to hand Great Britain their third medal of the week.

Greg Slade put in a confident performance over world No.29 Finn Broadbent to clinch a vital 6-4, 6-0 victory and place the Brits just one match win away from a medal. However, after narrowly losing out in an opening set tie-break, Andy Lapthorne sturggled to find a way back against Benjamin Wenzel  - eventually being beaten 7-6(4), 6-4 to see Australia level up the scoreboard.

Paris 2024 Paralympic quad doubles silver medallists Lapthorne and Slade then teamed up to secure doubles delight against Broadbent and Wenzel, 6-4, 6-1 and secure the bronze medal. Their win marked a first World Team Cup medal for Slade and fellow Great Britain teammate Gary Cox.
