Celebrate 50 years of wheelchair tennis
This year marks 50 years of wheelchair tennis, and there are plenty of ways you can get involved and celebrate the milestone with us.
Taking centre stage is a special wheelchair exhibition event across finals weekend (20–21 June), featuring some of Britain’s very best players, including Lucy Shuker, Cornelia Oosthuizen and 2024 Paralympic silver medallists Andy Lapthorne and Greg Slade.
The exhibition event will be free to watch, so make sure to head to the courts to watch world-class wheelchair tennis in action.
You can also catch a new digital exhibition, curated by the LTA in partnership with Getty Images celebrating 50 years with 50 images of wheelchair tennis.
Take part in the Family Fun weekend
Start your tournament experience early at the Family Fun Weekend - taking place across qualifying weekend (13-14 June) – with plenty of activities available for fans of all ages.
Children aged 5–12 can take part in LTA Youth coaching sessions, while ‘Have a Go’ sessions will take place across tennis, wheelchair tennis and padel for everyone.
Once you’ve finished on court and are ready to relax, you’ll be able to check out the pros taking part in the qualifying stages as they bid for a spot in the main draw.

The tournament – fittingly held in Learning Disability Awareness Week – marks a milestone moment and will undoubtedly raise the profile of learning disability and autism tennis and inspire future players.
