US Open 2026: Emma Raducanu & Arthur Fery lead British entries with Jack Draper set for qualifying

Five British tennis players have direct entry into the singles main draws at the 2026 US Open from 30 August – 13 September, with more set for qualifying.
Update: Emma Raducanu and Jack Draper have announced their withdrawals from the 2026 US Open due to an ongoing injuries.
Katie Boulter has direct entry into the women’s singles. Boulter had an impressive run at The Queen’s Club this summer, earning a career-best win over world No.2 Elena Rybakina to make the semi-finals, but bowed out in the first round at Wimbledon.
Boulter made the third round at the US Open in 2023 – her joint best Grand Slam result.

The US Open men’s singles draw will include Arthur Fery, Cam Norrie and Jan Choinski – all three currently ranked inside the world’s top 90.
Fery is set for his main draw debut at Flushing Meadows after his dream run to the semi-finals at Wimbledon, becoming only the second wild card in history to make the final four.
30-year-old Norrie is a former Grand Slam semi-finalist himself at Wimbledon and also achieved a career-best fourth round at the US Open in 2022. Norrie’s best result this season has been a quarter-final run at the BNP Paribas Open Indian Wells.
Choinski has been in strong form of late, breaking into the top 100 for the first time at the Lexus Eastbourne Open, winning in the first round of Wimbledon and claiming another ATP Challenger title in Braunschweig.
Qualifying entry list
Recent Newport Challenger champion Jacob Fearnley, rising star Toby Samuel, Billy Harris and Jack Pinnington Jones are lined up to play US Open qualifying.
Francesca Jones will play qualifying, coming off the back of back-to-back WTA 125 singles title in Rome. They’ll be joined by Harriet Dart, Jodie Burrage, Heather Watson and Katie Swan, with others close to the cut off.
