Toby Samuel is a professional British tennis player and one of the rising stars on the men's side.
He made his first ATP semi-final at the Lexus Eastbourne Open in June 2026.
In September 2026, he made his Davis Cup debut for the Lexus GB team during their second round Qualifier against Ecuador where he became LTA Colour Holder No.335.

Tennis beginnings
Samuel started playing tennis at the age of three at St Leonards and St Ives Tennis Club in Ringwood, Bournemouth before moving over to West Hants Club.
Prior to his professional tennis career, Samuel was a talented football player and was part of the football academy at AFC Bournemouth when he was 11-years-old, but later decided to pursue tennis.
As a junior, Samuel reached the boys' doubles semi-final at Wimbledon, alongside Arthur Fery in 2019 and reached an junior career-high ranking of world No.56.
Like many players, Samuel decided to go down the American college route and attended the University of South Carolina where he studied sports management. During his time there, he won the all-American doubles title, alongside fellow Brit Connor Thomson, and became the number one ranked doubles team in Collegiate tennis.
