The Lexus Great Britain team will be hoping to continue their winning streak on the Billie Jean King Cup stage as they prepare to take on Czechia in the quarter-finals of the 2026 Finals.
Lexus GB Team Captain Anne Keothavong has opted for a similar team that caused an upset over Australia in the Qualifiers back in April, including British No.1 Katie Boulter, Harriet Dart, Sonay Kartal, Mika Stojsavljevic and Jodie Burrage.
Meanwhile, Barbora Strycova has opted for a strong Czechia team, featuring singles and doubles Grand Slam champions, including reigning Wimbledon winner Linda Noskova.

Linda Noskova

Noskova has been one of the breakthrough stars of the year on the WTA Tour - highlighted by her run to a maiden Grand Slam title at Wimbledon.
The 21-year-old dominated on the grass this year, winning the singles and doubles title in Berlin before closing out the summer with a first major title at SW19 where she beat compatriot Muchova in the final.
Noskova has continued to impress on the singles and doubles court since then - recently lifting her first WTA 1000 doubles crown with Bouzkova at the Cincinnati Open.
With a new career-high ranking of world No.6, Noskova - and her newfound sense of confidence - will be a pivotal player in the quarter-final clash against the Brits.

Muchova is embarking on one of the standout seasons of her career to date and will arrive in Shenzhen brimming with confidence.
The 30-year-old narrowly missed out on his first Grand Slam singles title at Wimbledon, but went on to be crowned the US Open mixed doubles champion alongside compatriot Jakub Mensik.
It marks the third title Muchova has claimed this year, adding to her maiden WTA 1000 crown in Doha and a career-first title on grass at Bad Homburg - all of which have contributed to her achieving a highest-ever ranking of world No.6 in July.
Despite being a long-standing feature in the world’s top 20, the two-time Grand Slam finalist has only contested five matches for her country on the Billie Jean King Cup stage and comes in as the Czech player with the least experience at the tournament.

Like many of her compatriots, Bouzkova has enjoyed a successful 2026 campaign, winning two WTA tournaments in Bogota and at the Lexus Nottingham Open.
The 28-year-old has proven she can rise to the occasion on the big stage - highlighted by her fourth round runs at Wimbledon and the Cincinnati Open in singles, and her doubles triumph with Noskova in Cincinnati.
Since making her debut for the Czechs in 2023, Bouzkova has competed in five ties and secured victory in their deciding rubber against Switzerland’s Viktorija Golubic during the Qualifiers.

When it comes to women’s doubles, it’s hard to argue that there’s a player in better form right now than Siniakova.
The world No.1 has dominated the doubles game in recent years - racking up 11 women’s doubles Grand Slam titles across all four of the majors. She’s already lifted six titles this year - including four WTA 1000 titles at Indian Wells, Miami, Madrid and Toronto, as well as the Roland Garros crown with Taylor Townsend.
She arrives in Shenzhen as the most experienced Billie Jean King Cup player in the Czech team, having competed in 13 ties since making her debut nine years ago.
With Siniakova in the form of her life, and her ability to find a winning formula with almost any partner, she’ll be a key weapon in Czechia’s bid for the Billie Jean King Cup title.

They lifted their first title in 1975 before sealing three successive titles between 1983-1985, Their latest victory came back in 2018 when Siniakova and Barbora Strycova guided their nation to a 3-0 victory over the USA.
Great Britian vs Czechia head-to-head
The quarter-final meeting between Great Britain and Czechia at the 2026 Finals will mark the eighth time the two nations have met at the tournament.
They first played each other in 1966 where the Brits secured a 3-0 victory. However, the Czech's won the latest battle at the 2022 Billie Jean King Cup Qualifiers after edging a 3-2 victory to see them take a 4-3 lead in the head-to-head.
