Unsung heroes from across the country were celebrated at the 2025 LTA Tennis Awards, presented by Lexus.
Several high-profile guests including the LTA’s Honorary President Her Royal Highness the Duchess of Gloucester attended the prestigious event, now in its 10th year, at the National Tennis Centre in Roehampton.
The ceremony was hosted by LTA President Sandi Procter and presented by GB Davis Cup Captain and Head of Men’s Tennis Leon Smith.
Also there to present the winners with their trophies was a host of celebrities including Sir Trevor McDonald alongside tennis star Sue Barker.
As well as celebrating the grassroots, elite players were also recognised for their achievements in 2024 including Jack Draper, Katie Boulter, Henry Patten and Alfie Hewett. The juniors, Girls Player of the Year Mika Stojsavljevic and Wheelchair Player of the Year Ruben Harris were presented with their awards on the day by former British No. 1 and BBC commentator Andrew Castle.
Seniors Marjory Love and Nick Adams were handed their hard-earned awards from Paralympian Louise Hunt-Skelley.
While entrepreneur Max England fresh from the boardroom on this year’s Apprentice handed out the awards for padel.

During the event attended by finalists, their guests, LTA councillors and others involved in the sport there was also a Q&A with Olympic silver medallist, Laura Robson. Laura chatted with commentator and podcaster Anne-Marie Batson about her new role as the Tournament Director of the HSBC Championships WTA 500 event, as women's tennis returns to The Queen's Club for the first time in over 50 years.
The annual LTA Tennis Awards, presented by Lexus, highlight and celebrate the incredible achievements and contributions of people in tennis across Britain.
First launched in 2015 with the help of former LTA president Cathie Sabin OBE, they recognise the vital work of volunteers, coaches, officials, and venues dedicating their precious time and energy to the continual development and growth of the sport.
Over the past ten years, the awards have illustrated the depth of service and talent within the tennis community and serve as an inspiration to others to get involved in the game.
The winners, selected from more than 2,000 nominations across 12 different categories, judged by national panels, have all been acknowledged for their outstanding contribution to tennis in 2024.
Winners of 12 awards, voted by national judging panels, were also given £1,000 from our commercial partners Lexus. They also sponsored for the first time the Lexus Game Changer Award with the £1,000 grant going to South Devon Tennis Centre to continue their groundbreaking efforts which also demonstrates a significant impact in their community.
President Sandi Procter, speaking after the event at the National Tennis Centre, said: “The ceremony is a celebration of the people that make our sport so special.
“I have always been passionate about grassroots, and the LTA awards are our way of highlighting the extraordinary contribution of individuals and venues across Britain. The dedication of all the winners, and runners-up too, is unbelievable. I am always impressed by the selfless sacrifice of all the volunteers, officials and coaches.
“We want to keep attracting new players and fans to the sport. Supporters play a crucial role in inspiring people to pick up a racket, no matter their age, skill level, background, or where they come from.’’
Lexus Great Britain Davis Cup Team captain and LTA Head of Men’s Tennis, Leon Smith said: “It was such a great day at the National Tennis Centre, and amazing to see all the finalists come together.
“Hearing their stories during the awards and learning about the impact they've had on tennis and padel was honestly so inspiring. It was also really humbling to find out about all the brilliant work going on in clubs, parks, schools, venues, and communities across the country.
“It was wonderful to be able to recognise everything they’ve done — all of which helps bring the LTA’s vision of ‘tennis opened up’ to life. I can’t wait to see what they do next. Big congratulations to everyone – you're all winners!"
