Nitto ATP Finals 2025: Henry Patten & Harri Heliovaara to face Joe Salisbury & Neal Skupski in final
• 2 MINUTE READ
This year’s Nitto ATP Finals will see at least one British player be crowned champion as Joe Salisbury and Neal Skupski prepare to take on Henry Patten and Finland’s Harri Heliovaara in Sunday’s final.
Patten and Heliovaara were the first to confirm their place in the final after dispatching home favourites Simone Bolelli and Andrea Vavassori 6-4, 6-3 in the semi-finals.
Then, in a thrilling all-British battle between Salisbury and Skupski and world No.1s Julian Cash and Lloyd Glasspool, it was the fifth seeds who got their revenge – coming through a tough battle 6-7(3), 6-3, 10-8.
Salisbury has now won his last 14 matches at the Nitto ATP Finals, having clinched back-to-back titles in Turin in 2022 and 2023 with Rajeev Ram. He did not qualify for the tournament last year.
However, Skupski, Patten and Heliovaara are all into the final at the year-end event for the first time and will all be gunning to wrap their hands around the prestigious title for the first time.
For Patten and Heliovaara, they will be looking to add an eighth ATP tour title to their trophy haul and their second on an indoor hard court after they sealed their maiden Masters 1000 titles at the Rolex Paris Masters earlier this month.
They have also claimed titles at the Australian Open - their second Grand Slam crown - and in Beijing this year.

Tomorrow's final will mark the second meeting between the two partnerships this week. During their group stage match on Wednesday, Salisbury and Skupski overcame the reigning Australian Open champions 7-6(7), 3-6, 10-7 on their way to securing a clean sweep in the group stages.
However, the US Open and Roland Garros runners-up are anticipating Patten and Heliovaara to raise their level ahead of tomorrow’s final at the Pala Alpitour, “It’s definitely going to be a different match to when we played them on Wednesday” Salisbury said.
“Obviously it’s a bigger match, bigger occasion being in the final. They definitely weren’t at their best in that match on Wednesday, so I think we’re expecting them to bring a higher level – I know they played pretty well in their match today.”
“It’s going to be a tough match against those boys – we’re really looking forward to it," Skupski added. "We’ve got to bring as much energy as possible even though it’s the last tournament of the year but we’ll give it our best shot and let's see what happens.”
Tomorrow’s final will not only mark Salisbury and Skupski’s sixth final of the season but also their last match together as a duo after deciding to part ways at the end of the year.
They will be hoping to end their partnership on a high by securing their first title together.
