The votes are in and it’s time to announce your winners for the Men’s Women’s, Doubles and Wheelchair Player of the Month awards for July.

Men’s singles Player of the Month – Liam Broady

Stockport’s Liam Broady caught the eye at Wimbledon this year as one of the most impressive British performers from across the fortnight.

Having comfortably defeated Contant Lestienne in the opening round, Broady caused one of the upsets of the tournament as he knocked out world No.4 Casper Ruud with a 6-4, 3-6, 4-6, 6-3, 6-0 win on Centre Court. Into the third round, Broady also ran close against former semi-finalist Denis Shapovalov, but in the end, it wasn’t to be.

Continuing to close in on that top 100 spot, Broady’s performance saw him jump 22 places to world No.125 in the ATP rankings – just nine off his career-high.

Women’s singles Player of the Month – Katie Boulter

For the second month in a row, British No.1 Katie Boulter takes the crown off the back of her strong performances on the grass this summer.

Having won her first WTA title at the Rothesay Open Nottingham in June, Boulter went on to have the best British performance in the women’s singles at Wimbledon – reaching the third round for the second consecutive year.

Since becoming the top-ranked female British singles player, Boulter has fought hard to keep her title and extended the gap at the top after reaching a new career-high ranking of world No.73.

Let’s see if the 27-year-old can make it a hat-trick of awards in August…

Doubles Player of the Month – Neal Skupski

There could only be one winner for this category – Wimbledon men’s doubles champion, Neal Skupski.

A historic fortnight for the 33-year-old saw him and Dutch partner Wesley Koolhof capitalise on their title of top seeds to win their first Grand Slam trophy together as a team.

Skupski and Koolhof lost just one set throughout the tournament, finishing with an impressive 6-4, 6-4 victory over former US Open and Wimbledon runners-up Marcel Granollers and Horacio Zeballos in the final.

In doing so, Skupski became the first Briton to win the title since Jonathan Marray in 2012 and he retains his crown as joint world No.1 – it doesn’t get much better than that.

Wheelchair Player of the Month – Alfie Hewett & Gordon Reid

So good they both had to receive the award. Alfie Hewett and Gordon Reid continue to be the dominant force in men’s wheelchair doubles after clinching an incredible 18th Grand Slam title together at Wimbledon this year.

Hewett and Reid came from a set down to beat Tokito Oda and Takuya Miki to win final 3-6, 6-0, 6-3 and secure their fifth Wimbledon crown as a team.

Both players enjoyed great campaigns in the singles as well – Reid made the semi-final, while Hewett finished runner-up for the second year in a row.
