What is the Play Tennis Fund?
The Play Tennis Fund is a small grants funding scheme aimed at supporting the tennis network across Britain in establishing effective local projects to grow tennis participation. Projects can apply for a maximum of £5,000 from the Play Tennis Fund and can target any age group of participants from 12 years of age upwards.
Throughout 2016, we funded over 75 projects to deliver participation growing activities and in 2017 we’d love to fund even more of your innovative projects and ideas.
How do I apply?
Before applying, we strongly recommend you take a look through our guidance resource and top tips resource available on this page, but also that you get in touch with your local regional team for support with your application. This is to ensure you’re eligible to apply to the fund, but also to give you the best possible chance of having your application approved if you are.
Then, download the editable Application Form PDF file available on this page, fill in answers to all of the questions and send it on to email@example.com.
What are the deadlines for applying?
There are a series of Funding Rounds throughout the year. If you get your application in before a particular deadline, we will endeavour to get back to you as soon as we can with a decision. See below for the Funding Round deadlines:
