The Great British Tennis Weekend (GBTW) is a nationwide ‘open days’ campaign driving more people to play tennis by offering FREE opportunities to play.
Since beginning in 2013, thousands of tennis clubs up and down the country have run GBTW events, enticing hundreds of thousands of people to play tennis.
As a tennis venue, you have the opportunity to be involved by opening your doors and providing sessions for people of any age, ability or background to come and play some tennis.

Dates for 2017
GBTW events will happen all across Britain throughout the summer, with two nationally supported weekends:
As a GBTW venue, you will receive a resource pack to help you plan, promote and run your event, including t-shirts, balloons, signage, promotional materials and an Organiser’s Guide. The arrival of your pack will depend on when you publish your event, as per the below timelines:
|Publish event date
||Resource pack delivery date
|January - February
Please note that your venue will only receive a pack for the first event that you publish on ClubSpark. For any further events (i.e. your second or third published event), you will not receive a pack.
In order to receive a pack, you will need to publish your event before the end of June. Any venue that publishes an event on or after July 1 will not receive a pack, but is welcome to still run their event.
Don’t forget too that there are plenty of GBTW resources available via My Tennis Toolkit, including promotional materials that you can personalise.
