United Cup 2026: Great Britain drawn against Greece & Japan

Great Britain will face Greece and Japan in Group E at the 2026 United Cup.

The fourth edition of the United Cup will see 18 nations compete in a mixed team event from 2-11 January in Australia.

The British team – led by British No.1s Jack Draper and Emma Raducanu – have been placed in Group E, which is set to take place in Perth at the RAC Arena.

GB will take on a Greek team that includes former Australian Open and Roland Garros runner-up Stefanos Tsitsipas as well as former world No.3 Maria Sakkari.

In Group E, they will also play four-time Grand Slam champion Naomi Osaka and Shintaro Mochizuki in the Japanese team.

Great Britain will open against Japan in the day session on Sunday 4 January and will close out against Greece in the night session on Monday 5 January.

Day sessions in Perth start at 10:00 local time and night sessions begin at 17:00.

All United Cup ties are best of three matches, including one men’s singles, one women’s singles and one mixed doubles rubber.

The winners from each group will progress to the quarter-finals as well as the best performing runner-up from the three groups in each city.

Quarter-finals in Perth will take place on Wednesday 7 January. Semi-finals will be hosted in Sydney on Saturday 10 January

The full British team was announced last week, with Billy Harris, Mimi Xu, Lloyd Glasspool and Olivia Nicholls joining Draper and Raducanu.
