Young American star Jovic sealed her first WTA 125 title after a dominant 6-1, 6-3 win over defending champion Rebecca Marino. It’s the biggest win of Jovic’s career and her first title on grass.
Pinnington Jones showed his grit to come back from 3-1 down in the first set to clinch a first set tie-break and an early break in the second.

After an exhance of five straight breaks, a hold from the Aussie all but sealed the match as Schoolkate clinched his third Challenger title.
Jovic showed why she’s one of the rising stars in the women’s game as she broke the former top 40 star five times in just 68 minutes.
Her title run in Ilkley – which also included a straight sets win over world No.82 Viktorija Golubic – has seen her rise into the top 100 in the WTA live rankings for the first time in her career.
This is the biggest title of her young career, surpassing her W100 in Charlottesville back in April. She now has pro titles on every surface.
