• 2 minute read
The line-up for the US Open is almost complete as the main draw, wild card and qualifying entries have now been confirmed for the all-star event.
Three British stars have been announced in the qualifying draw for this year’s tournament, including ATP doubles world No.1 Henry Patten with WTA doubles No.1 Katerina Siniakova, Britain’s Neal Skupski with Brazil’s Luisa Stefani, and former Wimbledon champion Lloyd Glasspool teaming up with Erin Routliffe.
Jack Draper, Katie Boulter and Julian Cash had also been on the list of players to sign up for this year’s tournament but are yet to have their places confirmed.
There are still three direct entry wild cards to be announced and two qualifying wild cards as well.
Other headline partnerships include Aryna Sabalenka and Novak Djokovic, last year’s runners-up Iga Swiatek and Casper Ruud, and Elena Rybakina joining forces with Taylor Fritz.
US Open mixed doubles qualifying starts on Monday 24 August, with the main draw from 25-26 August.

Who won the 2025 US Open Mixed Doubles Championships?
Doubles specialists and all-Italian duo Sara Errani and Andrea Vavassori were crowned mixed doubles champions in New York last year after beating Swiatek and Ruud 6-3, 5-7, 10-6 in the final.
What is the format of the US Open Mixed Doubles Championships?
Matches will be played in a best-of-three-set format, with shortened sets played to four games. Deuce games will be played using no-ad scoring, meaning that the winner of the next point wins the game.
If the score reaches 4-4 in a set, a 10-point tie-break will be played to determine the winner of the set. The first team to reach 10 points, with a margin of at least two points, will win the tie-break.
The final will be played as a best-of-three-set match with full six-game sets. No-ad scoring will remain in place and if the teams are level at one set each, a 10-point match tie-break will be played instead of a deciding third set.
What is the prize money for the US Open Mixed Doubles Championships?
The official prize money for the 2026 US Open will be announced soon.
Last year saw the tournament increase its total prize pool to a record $90 million, with the mixed doubles champions being awarded $1 million per team for the first time in history.
