As a new starter, I've really appreciated the peer-to-peer support I've received to help me get up to speed in my role. Having colleagues who generously share their time, knowledge, and experiences has been invaluable.
As a new mum, I’ve appreciated the LTA’s newly enhanced benefits, which have supported me during maternity leave and in my return to work
The support I received during Ramadan meant so much to me. My team showed understanding and provided flexibility for what I needed. It reminded me how valued I am as a colleague.
From my very first Ramadan, my colleagues showed genuine warmth and curiosity about my culture. They joined me in celebrating Eid, attended seminars on Ramadan, and took part in my traditions with heartfelt enthusiasm. Their kindness made me feel truly included and valued.
Over many years at the LTA, I have felt consistently supported to grow both professionally and personally, with opportunities across the sport, from grassroots work, to leading the GB National Deaf Women’s Team, and supporting workforce projects. The organisation has continually invested in my development through formal qualifications and ongoing learning, while also showing genuine flexibility and understanding as I navigated work and family life. I am proud and grateful to be part of an organisation that truly values its people and has enabled me to build a purposeful and fulfilling career.
It’s been incredibly refreshing to feel welcomed, supported, and encouraged in my new role, and to know that the work I’m doing is making a positive impact on fellow fans and players across Britain.
Since joining the LTA I have loved feeling part of a team that are all pulling in the same direction. This year was the first Christmas that I got to spend so much quality time with my family and this is part of the benefits of being employed with the LTA.
Between a comprehensive onboarding process, a diverse range of social activities to get to know colleagues mixed with a friendly and supportive workplace culture has made my first few months working at the LTA really enjoyable and helped me feel like a valued member of the business.
The LTA hasn’t just acknowledged my ADHD - it has actively supported me through thoughtful adjustments. This support has removed barriers, built confidence, and allowed me to thrive in my role.
I get so much from working for the LTA. My role as Delivery Manager enables me to see, firsthand, how ‘Tennis Opened Up’ translates at a local level and the impact that a progressive and genuinely inclusive NGB can have on the health and wellbeing of communities.
