Skupski lifts Australian Open title

Britain’s Neal Skupski won his second career men’s doubles Grand Slam title at the Australian Open alongside American Christian Harrison.

In their first Grand Slam tournament together, Skupski and Harrison made the final after knocking out last year’s Roland Garros and US Open champions Marcel Granollers and Horacio Zeballos in the semi-final, before taking on Jason Kubler and Marc Polmans for the title.

The British, American duo wrapped up both of their first Australian Open titles with a 7-6(4), 6-4 win over the Australian wild cards on the Rod Laver Arena.

Skupski adds a second Grand Slam to his 2023 Wimbledon title and is now one of five British players to win multiple men’s doubles trophies in the Open Era at majors.

Alfie Hewett bowed out in the semi-finals of the wheelchair men’s singles and also in the doubles with British teammate Gordon Reid.

Luke Johnson reached a career-best men’s doubles semi-final with Jan Zielinski as well to get his 2026 season off to a strong start.

Dart & Lumsden crowned W100 Fujairah champions

Harriet Dart and Maia Lumsden were in impressive form at the W100 Fujairah in the United Arab Emirates – capturing their first doubles title of the season.

Dart and Lumsden sailed through to the final without dropping a set before thrashing top seeds Isabelle Haverlag and Elena Pridankina in the final 6-1, 6-0.

This marked Dart and Lumsden’s second career doubles title together after winning the WTA 125 Calas da Rainha last year.

29-year-old Dart also had a great week in the singles draw – finishing runner-up to Austria’s Lilli Tagger 6-4, 6-2.

Dart continued her strong run from the end of the 2025 season where she won the W75 Toronto title and made the semi-finals of the WTA 125 Tampico.

Broom wins singles & doubles in Glasgow

Britain’s Charles Broom was crowned singles and doubles champion at the Lexus British Pro Series Glasgow.

The 27-year-old won four matches against fellow British players, including a three-set semi-final victory over Giles Hussey before beating Lui Maxted in the final 6-4, 6-1.

Broom is an eight-time ITF singles title winner, including three trophies last year. He has also recently made quarter-finals at Lexus Challenger events in Nottingham and Glasgow.

In the doubles draw, Broom and Hussey clinched the title against Tom Hands and Harry Wendelken – coming back from a set down to win 3-6, 6-3, 10-8.
