Women’s singles
British No.1 Emma Raducanu and No.2 Sonay Kartal have both withdrawn from the women’s singles draw as of Monday night.
Transylvania Open runner-up Raducanu announced that she will miss Miami with illness, while Kartal is out with a lower back injury sustained during her fourth round run at Indian Wells. The pair had been on path to meet each other in the second round.
Francesca Jones has been dealt one of the standout draws of the first round, taking on seven-time Grand Slam champion Venus Williams.
The winner will move on to face fifth seed Jessica Pegula in round two.
Finally, Ostrava Open champion Katie Boulter has been drawn against Spain’s Jessica Bouzas Maneiro in the first round before a potential clash with 17th seed Clara Tauson.
Karolina Muchova and Iga Swiatek both feature in Boulter’s quarter of the draw.
Men’s singles

Newly crowned British No.1 Cam Norrie opens his Miami campaign with a bye, followed by a second round clash with either Alex Michelson or a qualifier.
Should he make it to the third round, Norrie could play Andrey Rublev, with a potential fourth round against Indian Wells champion Jannik Sinner in round four.
Fresh off a quarter-final run in Indian Wells, 25th seed Jack Draper also begins with a bye into the second round before a potential matchup with either Reilly Opelka or Nuno Borges.
Draper’s path through the draw could see him play sixth seed Taylor Fritz in the third round and 11th seed Casper Ruud in the fourth.
Jacob Fearnley has been drawn against wild card Martin Damm in the first round, with the winner set to play third seed Alexander Zverev.
Four Brits are still in men’s singles qualifying at the Miami Open, including Jack Pinnington Jones, Jay Clarke, Arthur Fery and Billy Harris.
