Julian Cash & Lloyd Glasspool’s biggest win of the 2025 season

The all-British duo's biggest win of the year by ranking came on the clay during their run to the final of the Monte Carlo Masters.

Cash and Glasspool fought past fourth seeded German pair Tim Puetz and Kevin Krawietz on their way to setting up a semi-final clash against then world No.1s Marcelo Arevalo and Mate Pavic.

The Brits edged a tight opening set tie-break before the Croatian, Salvadoran pair fought back to take the second. With a spot in a second Masters 1000 final of the year on the line, Cash and Glasspool came out on top in the match deciding tie-break to win 7-6(2), 6-7(5), 10-6.

Julian Cash & Lloyd Glasspool’s defining moment

In a year full of so many milestones, it's difficult to pin point just one defining moment for Cash and Glasspool - but there is one that just takes it.

Cash and Glasspool arrived at this year's Wimbledon having swept up back-to-back trophies at the HSBC Championships and Lexus Eastbourne Open. It seemed a tough ask for them to continue their win streak into a two week Slam, but the Brits went on to do the unthinkable and create history in SW19.

The all British pair dropped just one set on their way to the final where they came up against David Pel and Rinky Hijikata.

Cash and Glasspool may be used to working together on the match court, but their latest challenge at the National Tennis Centre forced the doubles partners to face off against each other.

We stacked four tennis balls on top of each other and challenged the world's top doubles pair to battle it out to see who knock the it down first.

Winning your first Grand Slam title is an incredible achievement in itself, but doing it in front of a home crowd makes it even more special.

This summer, Cash and Glasspool captured their first major title, both individually and as a pair, in front of a jam-packed crowd on the historic Center Court at Wimbledon.

Here is the moment Cash and Glasspool wrapped their hands around the prestigeous trophy in front of the British fans at the All England Club.

Julian Cash & Lloyd Glasspool's quote of 2025:

Cash and Glasspool capped off a dominant year in the best possible way - by being crowned the ATP year-end world No.1 doubles team at the Nitto ATP Finals.

In doing so, they also became the first all-British doubles pair to finish a season at the top of the world rankings, a milestone that meant a great deal to both players. Here’s what they had to say about achieving the feat in their on-court interview in Turin:

It takes a lot of people to get to this spot. We've ticked off so many things this year and I think we both truly believed at the start of the year that this was possible for us and to be stood here now is very surreal.

What's next for Julian Cash and Lloyd Glasspool in 2026?

Cash and Glasspool will undoubtedly be the team to fear heading into 2026.

The Brits closed out the year by reaching the semi-finals of the Nitto ATP Finals on their tournament debut as a pair, where they narrowly lost out to fellow all-British duo Joe Salisbury and Neal Skupski.

After hauling seven titles this year, Cash and Glasspool will enter the new season with high expectations on their shoulders and will bid to add even more silverware to their rapidly expanding collection.

For world No.1 Glasspool, he'll make the United Cup his first stop of the year, where he's set to join British No.1's Jack Draper and Emma Raducanu, Billy Harris, Mimi Xu and Olivia Nicholls.

He'll then reunite with Cash for the remained of the Australian summer swing, where the pair will be hoping to go the distance at the first major of the year at the Australian Open.
