Wimbledon 2026: Henry Patten & Olivia Nicholls lead 19-strong British contingent in mixed doubles draw

• 2 minute read

A total of 19 British players will compete in the 2026 Wimbledon mixed doubles event, with a host of doubles specialists and wild cards all gearing up to contest the title.

All-British duo Henry Patten and Olivia Nicholls will lead the home challenge this year and come in as one of the highest-ranked pairings in this year’s draw. The fourth seeds have regularly teamed up on the Grand Slam stage, with their best run coming at the 2025 Australian Open where they reached the semi-finals.

Also amongst the seeded pairs are fifth seed Julian Cash and Demi Schuurs will reunite for the third time this season. The British, Dutch duo reached the second round in Melbourne earlier this year, before bowing out in the first round at the Roland Garros.

Two-time champions Neal Skupski and Desirae Krawcyzk are also amongst the title contenders this year as they bid to make it a hat-trick of Wimbledon mixed doubles crowns.
The pair are seeking their first title since lifting the trophy at SW19 in 2022.

Elsewhere, Lloyd Glasspool teams up with Slovakia’s Tereza Mihalikova as the seventh seeds, while two-time Wimbledon mixed doubles finalist Joe Salisbury will partner former US Open singles runner-up Leylah Fernandez for the first time.

Several British players have also been awarded wild cards and will be hoping to make a deep run in front of the home crowd.
