Francesca Jones will lead the Brits in women’s singles qualifying having narrowly missed out on a place in the main draw.
Jones has had the best successes of her career on clay, a surface where she’s won all of her 11 titles. Last year, she claimed two WTA 125 trophies on clay in Contrexeville and Palermo, and will be hoping to make her main draw debut in Paris.
Harriet Dart is also set for qualifying off the back of securing Great Britain’s place in the Billie Jean King Cup Finals with a 3-1 victory over Australia.

On the men’s side, Jan Choinski is another clay court specialist hoping to make his mark at Roland Garros this year, while Billy Harris will bid for his first main draw spot in Paris.
Jack Pinnington Jones and Arthur Fery have been in good form this season. Pinnington Jones made his first ATP 500 quarter-final in Dallas, while Fery qualified for the Australian Open main draw for the first time and beat Flavio Cobolli to make the second round.
Toby Samuel has risen to a new career-high ranking this year, inside the world’s top 200 thanks to back-to-back ATP Challenger titles in Hersonissos.
It’s a similar story for Harry Wendelken, who has made two finals and a semi-final at his last three Challenger events.
Former British No.1 Dan Evans is set to make his return to the pro tour having last played in Australian Open qualifying back in January.
Liam Broady has been on a resurgence of late and won the Miyazaki Challenger at the start of April.
Jay Clarke has climbed almost 150 places in the world rankings since April 2024 and is back competing regularly on the Challenger Tour.
Meanwhile, Oliver Crawford’s best result this season came in a final run at the New Delhi Challenger and will be looking to compete at his first Grand Slam outside of Wimbledon.
