US Open 2026: Henry Patten & Lloyd Glasspool both qualify for mixed doubles main draw

British stars Henry Patten and Lloyd Glasspool have qualified for the US Open mixed doubles main draw with their respective partners.

World No.1s Patten and Katerina Siniakova won both their qualifying matches without dropping a set.

They started with a dominant 4-1, 4-2 win over Germany’s Tatjana Maria and Monaco’s Valentin Vacherot, before going on to beat American duo Peyton Stearns and Christian Harrison 4-1, 4-2 in their qualification decider.

Meanwhile, Glasspool and Erin Routliffe started with a narrow victory over fellow Brit Neal Skupski and partner Luisa Stefani 4-01, 3-5, 10-7.

Glasspool and Routliffe showed their quality in the big moment once again in their final qualifying match to defeat Kristina Mladenovic and Marcelo Arevalo 5-4(4), 2-4, 11-9.

Patten and Glasspool are now set to compete in the star-studded main draw from Tuesday 25 – Wednesday 26 August.

Both British players have attracted eye-catching first round matches. Patten and Siniakova are set to take on the top seeds Aryna Sabalenka and Novak Djokovic, while Glasspool and Routliffe face 23-time major singles champion Serena Williams and defending US Open men’s singles winner Carlos Alcaraz.

Matches get underway from 15:00 UK time and will be available to watch on Sky Sports or NOW TV.

Elsewhere, there were first round singles qualifying victories for Jacob Fearnley, Toby Samuel, Heather Watson, Jack Pinnington Jones, Billy Harris and Harry Wendelken.
