Billie Jean King Cup 2026: Katie Boulter & Harriet Dart lead GB team for Finals in Shenzhen

The Lexus Great Britain Billie Jean King Cup squad has been announced for the Finals in Shenzhen, China from 22-27 September.
The British team will include Katie Boulter, Harriet Dart, Mika Stojsavljevic and Jodie Burrage, with the option of a fifth team member closer to the event.
Great Britain will face Czechia in the Billie Jean King Cup quarter-finals in the opening match on Tuesday 22 September from 10:00 UK time.
“It's a great achievement to reach the Billie Jean King Cup Finals again and today I am naming my initial nominations for the GB team,” said Great Britain Billie Jean King Cup Captain Anne Keothavong.
“I'm pleased to select Katie Boulter who knows what it's like to step up on occasions like this and the three women who played with so much heart and courage to upset Australia earlier this year namely Harriet Dart, Mika Stojsavljevic and Jodie Burrage.
“Czechia will be a very challenging first match for us but the players and I believe in our chances, since we have a very strong record in recent final.”
The Brits have reached the semi-finals of the Billie Jean King Cup in three of the last four seasons, and qualified for this year’s Finals after an upset away win over Australia in April.
Singles victories for Dart and Stojsavljevic combined with a doubles win for Dart and Burrage led the GB team to a 4-1 victory over the Aussies in Melbourne.

Boulter is 12th in all-time match wins for the Lexus Great Britain Billie Jean King Cup team and has an impressive record of playing her best tennis when representing her country. Last year, Boulter won matches in both Qualifiers against Germany and the Netherlands, as well as beating Moyuka Uchijima at the Finals.
This season, she’s enjoyed some strong results on the WTA Tour, including her fourth title in Ostrava, as well as a semi-final run at the HSBC Championships. She also claimed her career-best win over world No.2 Elena Rybakina.

Dart led one of Great Britain’s best-ever Billie Jean King Cup upsets in April. As Britain’s highest-ranked player, Dart came back from a set down to beat Kimberly Birrell 4-6, 6-3, 6-3 and then followed it up with a doubles victory against Storm Hunter and Ellen Perez in the doubles.
On tour, Dart reached singles finals at the W100 Fujairah and W75 Porto earlier in the year, and has recently lifted two WTA doubles trophies in Nottingham and Athens.

Stojsavljevic enjoyed a dream Billie Jean King Cup debut in April – beating Talia Gibson in straight sets when the Australian came in well over 200 places higher in the WTA rankings.
The 17-year-old is a former junior US Open champion and has had some strong success since transitioning onto the pro tour. Over the summer she reached her first WTA 125 quarter-final at the Lexus Birmingham Open, and has also made semi-finals at the W100 Dubai and Lexus British Pro Series Manchester.
Jodie Burrage

Burrage has played a key part for the Lexus GB Billie Jean King Cup team over the last two years. In 2025, she combined with Boulter to seal a must-win doubles rubber against the Netherlands, which booked the team’s place in the Finals. This year, Burrage teamed up with Dart to once again seal a spot in the Finals with victory in Melbourne.
The 27-year-old is still on the return from a long-term injury, and only played her first singles match of the year in June. Known for her powerful, attacking game style, Burrage is a former top-100 player and WTA finalist, who will bring plenty of quality and experience to the side.
