Anne Keothavong’s Lexus GB Billie Jean King Cup team are bidding to reach the Finals for the second consecutive year when they take on Australia in just a couple of weeks time.

Leading the charge will be Harriet Dart who has been in consistent form over the last few months on the ITF Tour. The 29-year-old comes in as the Brits’ most experienced player in the Billie Jean King Cup having played in 10 ties since making her debut seven years ago.

Joining her is Jodie Burrage is on the comeback after a period on the sidelines. This is the third time Burrage has been called up to the team, following her memorable deciding doubles victory against the Netherlands during last year’s Qualifiers alongside Katie Boulter.

We could be set to see rising star Mika Stojsavljevic make her debut for her country, with the 17-year-old receiving a well-deserved first call up to the Lexus GB team.

The 2024 junior US Open girls’ singles champion has made a steady start to her professional career, winning the Lexus British Pro Series title in Birmingham and reaching two W100 finals in Dubai and Wrexham.

The team is completed by Katie Swan, who has embarked on a comeback journey over the last 12 months on the ITF Tour. This time last year, Swan was unranked but four ITF titles later and the 27-year-old is now up at world No.263 and is looking back to her best.

Moving onto the Australian team, who will arrive at the tie armed with plenty of strength in depth across the singles and doubles game.

Leading the charge as the highest ranked Australian player is Maya Joint whose breakthrough season in 2025 led her to break into the WTA top 30. The 19-year-old picked up two WTA singles titles last year, including at the Lexus Eastbourne Open

Australia will be boosted by the inclusion of the in-form Talia Gibson who has made a stellar start to her 2026 season. The 21-year-old reached the quarter-final at Indian Wells at the beginning of March, taking down three seeded plays in Ekaterina Alexandrova, Clara Tauson and Jasmine Paolini on her way to the last eight.

Gibson didn’t stop then carried that momentum with her to Miami where she reached the round of 16 having knocked out Naomi Osaka and Iva Jovic.

Australia will have plenty of strength on the doubles side, with doubles specialists Storm Hunter and Ellen Perez joining the team.

Ranked world No.21 and 26 respectively, both players have been long-standing members of the Australian team in recent years, with Hunter having a 13-4 win record and Perez having five wins to her name. The pair have played alongside each other plenty of times before - a factor that could give their nation the edge when it comes to the doubles rubber against the Brits.

The Australian team is completed by Kimberly Birrell who has already reached two semi-finals this year at the ATX Open and WTA 125 event in Austin.
