With a wide variety of tennis events in Wales – from Local Tennis Leagues through to professional tournaments – you’ll be sure to find the best competition for you.

If you’re just getting started or want to get back into competing after a long stretch away from the game, then Local Tennis Leagues could be just for you.
Taking place in park courts all over Wales, Local Tennis Leagues give you the chance to compete against other players of a similar standard. It’s friendly, fun, competitive tennis right on your doorstep.
Not only that but you organise matches between you and your opponent so you can play around your schedule.
Our County and District Leagues are for players of all ages and abilities who want to play weekly team tennis in their local area.
Team sizes differ from league to league but are usually around four to six players. Wales’ County and District Leagues are social so you can enjoy meeting new people and competing alongside your friends.

Whether you want to play singles or team up with a mate for some doubles, County Tour tournaments are a great place to start testing your skills.
County Tour tournaments are Grade 5 and 4 competitions, so they are suitable for you if you want to compete on a local or county level.
With events all over Wales, throughout the year there’s plenty of opportunities to play!
Represent your North or South Wales against teams across Great Britain – welcome to the County Cup.
Our Open County Cup events are split into a summer and winter competitions where teams compete in groups in a promotion, relegation format.
Players are selected by their nominated county. If you wish to be considered for selection please contact your local county directly. Details of county offices can be found here.
Every year players from across Wales come together to play for the title of Welsh champion. This is the biggest event in the Welsh calendar, welcoming players to compete for the biggest trophies and prizes in Welsh tennis.
2022 Championships will take place in Penarth across Penarth LTC and Windsor, Penarth LTC. Entries will opens on 5th July 2023.
Take on the very best players from around Wales in our Regional Tour competitions.
The Regional Tour events are Grade 3 singles and doubles tournaments that cater for a wide range of players, including: top level county players, those competing regionally on a regular basis and players pushing to play on the national stage.
Over a thousand players across Wales are already competing in regular matches in summer and winter leagues, and you could join them!
If you’re an adult player who wants to compete at either a county, regional or national level then our National League could be just for you.
Anyone can enter a team and play in the Open men’s or women’s competitions if they are part of an LTA registered venue.
The British Tour is a circuit of events across Great Britain for a variety of performance players,
from junior rising stars to national level adults or even pro players.
The tournaments are open age group category with a mixture of adults and juniors competing and are Grade 1 (Premier & Tier 1) and Grade 2 (Tier 2) events.
Depending on your results, you will climb up and down the leaderboard with the top player at the end of the season being crowned the British Tour Bonus Pool champion.
Don’t forget the end of year British Tour Masters either – a one off event offering the biggest prizes.

The GB Pro-Series is a series of men’s and women’s tournaments – singles and doubles – that take place each year in Britain as part of the ITF World Tennis Tour.
The GB Pro-Series features many of the world's best up and coming players who are looking to progress to compete on the main ATP and WTA Tours.
