Benefits of Coach Accreditation

What benefits are available to me and how can I redeem them?

To make the most of your benefits package, simply visit the Coach Secure Area or take a look at your welcome/renewal pack which you will have received in the post. Whilst some benefits are available to Accredited coaches, all benefits are made available to Accredited+ Coaches.

How can I find out more information about my insurance cover that is part of Coach Accreditation?

Your insurance certificate can be downloaded within the Coach Secure Area which outlines the specific covers an Accredited and Accredited+ coach is entitled to. The insurance that is part of Coach Accreditation is provided by an external company as part of the benefits package. To ensure expert advice is given to you as a coach, we recommend that all insurance queries are dealt with by our insurance provider, Perkins Slade (0121 698 8142 / lta@perkins-slade.com)

My insurance documents say my insurance is set to expire before my Coach Accreditation end date? E.g. my Accreditation expires on 29/12/2016, but my public liability insurance expires on 30/09/2016. How do I ensure I am still covered?

The insurance certificate will always run from 1st October to 30th September as these are the dates agreed with our insurance provider, Perkins Slade. On October 1st your certificate will renew and show the new dates of 01/10/2016-30/09/2017. If you let your Accreditation lapse you would lose access to this certificate.

I am registered as a private limited company, am I covered under the insurance provided as part of Coach Accreditation?

If you are the sole employee of your business then you will be covered by the insurance provided as part of Coach Accreditation. However, if you are registered as a private limited company and employ others, you should have your own business insurance. How can I find out more about physio cover?

Physio care is available for Accredited+ Coaches only as part of the benefits package. Similar to other insurances, the physio care is provided by an external company. To ensure expert and accurate information is given to you as a coach, you should get in touch with IPRS (0870 756 5020) with any physio queries you have. Please have your coach code to hand when making any enquiries.
