This course will support you as a tennis leader, to confidently support with inclusive tennis sessions at your school, local club or community venue. You will find lots of practical examples in how to make tennis more accessible, which can be applied both on and off court.
This course will give you an understanding of mental health and some of the pressures that go with competing, even at a lower level. You will learn how to promote good mental wellbeing in schools and other tennis venues and also how to look after your own mental health and wellbeing
This course will help you understand what safeguarding means and the different types of abuse people may face. You will also learn about what you should do if you see or suspect that someone is being abused, how to respond to any concerns from other young people, and where to seek further help and support.
This course is aimed to help improve your communication and relationship building skills with a variety of people – players, parents & volunteers on the committee. You should be able to use the skills that you’ve learned to build understanding, trust, commitment and better relationships across these groups of people.
This course will help you understand how to stay safe online, specific online safety in a tennis environment and how to respond to concerns and where to seek support. You will understand how your role as a Tennis Leader can help other young people stay safe.
This course is aimed to help you be the best version of yourself when working with others. It will help you understand key people and what their priorities are so you can best communicate your messages across to them.
This course will explain how you can play an active role in marking events at your club/venue a real success, whilst also developing your own skills. You will cover all aspects of an event from planning, promoting and helping run the event on the day.
