All Activators must undergo safeguarding training as part of their online training course. Alternatively, if you have completed safeguarding training within the last three years through the LTA, you can fulfil this requirement. Safeguarding training equips activators with the necessary knowledge and skills to create a safe and supportive environment for all participants. 

Activators also need to have a volunteer Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) or PVG check. 

If an Activator does not already have an LTA DBS/PVG check, they can obtain one via the LTA site as part of the online training process.
