How are Rankings Calculated?
3 minutes

Ranking points are awarded based upon performances in Grade 1 (highest) to Grade 5 tournaments. They can be earned from Qualifying, Main Draw and Consolation Draws.

There must be a minimum of five players in a singles event and three teams in a doubles event for the event to count for Ranking points.

For 9U & 10U Players, Rankings are based on Recent Form. Recent Form is calculated by using a Players 3 best results from the previous 6 months. If a Player plays in 9U and 10U, they will have an individual Recent Form for both age groups.

For 11U to Senior Players, Rankings are based on the LTA Combined Rankings.

LTA Combined Rankings are calculated using a Player's highest 6 Singles points, from domestic and international competitions, and 25% of their highest 6 Doubles points from domestic & international competitions.

Age group weighting of points will proportionately reward players for playing in older age groups. Tennis Europe and ITF tournament grade weighting will reflect the relative difficulty of the events at each grade.

Players can compete in any age group at a tournament to gain a ranking. However, they are subject to the following Play Up rules, which determine how a Players Rankings are calculated:
