Padel British Tour Rocks Lane Padel: Preview, draws and player list

Our Padel British Tour continues this week with a host of British talent set to flock to Rocks Lane Padel in Chiswick.

Grade 1 events see the very best British players and international competitors competing in standout events, across full weekends, for prize money with acceptance onto British Tour events being based on players' Padel Ranking.

The competition at Rocks Lane Padel begins on Friday 21 July, and is the sixth of seven Grade 1 events to take place across England, Scotland and the Channel Islands as part of the British Tour.

The tournament in West London sees a total of 48 pairs, 32 men, 16 women in action. Brits Francis Langan, Sandy Farquharson and Chris Salisbury will compete in this weekend’s tournament. Claire Smith and Abigail Tordoff headline the women’s draw alongside Grade 1 Guernsey and West of Scotland Champion Aimee Gibson.

2023 sees an uplift in investment into padel performance competitions in order to further develop the sport in Britain and to support the pathway for British professional padel players.

Founder of Rocks Lane Multi Sports Centre, Chris Warren said: Gearing up to be a top weekend of high calibre padel from Friday to Sunday at Rocks Lane Padel Centre Chiswick.

"The very best padel players are making their way to Chiswick from across Britain to battle it out on the courts hoping to be crowned champions. The seniors’ events over 40s and 50s will take place on Friday.

The Open will take place on Saturday, with all finals on Sunday. Spectators are welcome to come and watch some of the best British talent in action on court for free, and meet them in person, guaranteed to inspire our next generation of padel stars.”
