Italian Open 2026: Draws revealed for Cam Norrie, Emma Raducanu & Katie Boulter

The draws for the Italian Open 2026 have been announced, including three British stars in the singles main draw so far.

British No.1s Cam Norrie and Emma Raducanu will lead the charge in Rome, alongside four-time WTA title-winner Katie Boulter.

Italian Open first round draw

  • Cam Norrie (GBR) (17) vs Bye
  • Emma Raducanu (GBR) (27) vs Bye
  • Katie Boulter (GBR) vs Eva Lys (GER)

Full draw

17th seed Norrie has a first round bye at the Rome Masters event, before a second round clash with either Thiago Agustin Tirante or Gianluca Cadenasso.

Norrie recently defeated world No.69 Tirante in the third round of the Mutua Madrid Open.

He could potentially face 10th seed Flavio Cobolli in the third round, former US Open Daniil Medvedev in the fourth round and fourth seed Felix Auger-Aliassime in the quarter-final.

Raducanu also has a bye in the first round – coming in as the 27th seed. In the second round she will play either Solana Sierra, in what will be her first match on clay this season.

If she makes the third round, Raducanu could face a blockbuster clash with reigning Roland Garros champion, Coco Gauff.

Boulter has been drawn against German Eva Lys in the first round of the Italian Open. Lys won their only previous meeting in Tokyo last year, but Boulter has had some good results on the clay, making quarter-finals in Rouen and picking up a win in Madrid.

A victory would see her play 15th seed Naomi Osaka in the second round before a potential matchup with 19th seed Diana Shnaider in the third.

Britain’s Jacob Fearnley and Jan Choinski are also still competing in qualifying for this year’s Italian Open.

The Italian Open main draw gets underway from Tuesday 5 May. You can watch all the action live exclusively on Sky Sports and NOW TV.
