Break Point: Everything we know about season two of Netflix's tennis docu-series

Break Point is back for a second service, with the latest series of the Netflix phenomenon opening the door to behind-the-scenes access of an unforgettable year in the world of tennis.

Break Point is one of multiple sports docuseries that have been produced by Box To Box Films for Netflix, alongside F1’s Drive to Survive, Full Swing (golf) and Unchained (cycling).

The tennis documentary series was renewed for a second season following its successful debut in 2023.

The first season followed the journeys of the next generation of tennis players who were looking to step into the spotlight, as some of the sporting greats neared the end of their careers. We were given an inside glimpses of the players lives on and off the court as they competed across Grand Slams and tournaments across the world, and can expect much of the same in the upcoming season.

With just hours to go until the release, we run through everything you need to know about Break Point season two.

When is Break Point season two released?

The second season of Break Point will be available to stream exclusively on Netflix.

The season will consist of six episodes which will all be released on Wednesday 10 January 2024.

Which players will feature in Break Point season two?

The second instalment of the tennis docu-series will see some returning faces from the first season, while some of the world’s top tennis stars also join the line-up as new additions. You can expect to see the following players feature in the season:

Storylines to look out for in Break Point season two

Break Point season is set to cover some of the most memorable moments from the 2023 season across the ATP and WTA tours.

There are plenty of storylines you'll want to look out for. On the WTA side, we're expected to follow along with Coco Gauff’s memorable journey to Grand Slam victory at the US Open, Aryna Sabalenka’s rise to the world No.1 spot. 

Meanwhile, we'll also gain insight to Carlos Alcaraz’s astonishing triumph at Wimbledon, the growing rivalry between Taylor Fritz and Frances Tiafoe to become American No.1 and Alexander Zverev's return to the sport following a career-threatening injury.
