Cam Norrie: Grass court season history, record & past results

Cam Norrie comes into the 2026 grass court season as the British No.1 and having recently broken back into the world’s top 20.

Norrie has had some of the best results of his career at The Queen’s Club and Wimbledon, and heads into the summer season in impressive form.

We breakdown Norrie’s history on grass courts and look back at some of his past results and successes.

Norrie’s best grass court results

Norrie made the Queen’s Club final back in 2021 – the same year he won Indian Wells and rose to a career-high world No.9.

The British star finished as runner-up, losing to Matteo Berrettini in the final 6-4, 6-7(5), 6-3.

A year later, Norrie had his career-best run at a Grand Slam, making the semi-finals of the 2022 Wimbledon men’s singles.

Norrie beat the likes of Steve Johnson, Tommy Paul and David Goffin en-route to the final four, but eventually bowed out to seven-time champion Novak Djokovic 2-6, 6-3, 6-2, 6-4.

He also made the quarter-finals of Wimbledon in 2025 before losing out to Carlos Alcaraz in straight sets.

Norrie’s grass court season highlights:

  • 2017 – First ATP grass court win at Eastbourne over Horacio Zeballos
  • 2018 – Reached the Eastbourne quarter-finals
  • 2021 – Finished runner-up at The Queen’s Club
  • 2022 – Career-best Grand Slam run to the Wimbledon semi-finals
  • 2023 – Made quarter-finals at Queen’s Club
  • 2025 – Reached quarter-finals at Wimbledon for a second time

What is Norrie’s biggest grass court win?

Norrie’s career-best win on grass by ranking came at Wimbledon in 2025 against American Tiafoe.

The British star came from a set down to beat the world No.12 4-6, 6-4, 6-3, 7-5 in the second round.

Last year, Norrie lost in the opening round of both the HSBC Championships and the Lexus Eastbourne Open.

Despite the early losses, Norrie went on to have another special run at Wimbledon. He defeated Roberto Bautista Agut, Frances Tiafoe, Mattia Bellucci and Nicolas Jarry to make the quarter-finals for a second time.

  • Libema Open (6-14 June)
  • HSBC Championships (15-21 June)
  • Wimbledon (29 June – 12 July)

Including qualifying matches, Norrie’s career record at grass court tournaments is 28-29.

On the ATP Tour he is 26-22 (54.2%) in all matches on grass courts. This is slightly less than his record on clay (61.5%) and hard courts (56.1%).
