The Lexus Great Britain Davis Cup team are set to face Ecuador at London’s Copper Box Arena from 19-20 September.

The Davis Cup Qualifier second round tie will see the Brits take on Ecuador for a place in the Final 8 in November and a shot at this year’s title.

This will be the first time that the GB Davis Cup side have played at the Copper Box Arena, which has previously hosted British ties in the Billie Jean King Cup.

Lexus GB Davis Cup Captain and LTA Head of Men's Tennis Leon Smith said: “This will be our first home tie since 2024, so we’re really looking forward to bringing the Davis Cup to the Copper Box in September. It's a great venue and having a home crowd creating the special Davis Cup atmosphere that we love can make a big difference as we face a tough tie against Ecuador for a place in the Final 8.

Great Britain beat Norway 4-0 in their first round Qualifier earlier this year. Singles wins for Jack Draper, Cam Norrie and Jacob Fearnley were backed up by a doubles victory for Julian Cash and Lloyd Glasspool to complete the job in Norway.

Ecuador produced one of the upsets of the first round in knocking out 28-time champions Australia 3-1. Alvaro Guillen Meza and Andre Andrade gave the home side a two match lead after day one, before doubles duo Gonzalo Escobar and Diego Hildalgo sealed an historic victory.

Great Britain and Ecuador have only met twice in the competition before in 2000 and 2001, sharing one win apiece.

Get ready to back the Brits once again in London this year and buy your tickets from just £17.
