Davis Cup 2026: Great Britain drawn away against Norway in Qualifiers

The Lexus Great Britain Davis Cup team have been drawn away against Norway in the 2026 Davis Cup Qualifiers first round.
The Davis Cup Qualifiers first round will take place on either 6-7 or 7-8 February with home nation Norway having the choice of venue.
The winner will move on to face either Australia or Ecuador in the Davis Cup Qualifier second round. The second round is set for either 18-19 or 19-20 September.
The Brits were narrowly defeated 3-2 by Japan in this year’s Qualifiers, but went on to beat Poland 3-1 in their World Group I tie back in September.
Captain Leon Smith's side have been to the Davis Cup Final 8 twice in the last five years.
Great Britain and Norway have only faced each other twice in Davis Cup history – GB winning on both occasions – and this will be their first meeting since 1953.
Norway beat Chinese Taipei 3-2 in the World Group I with singles wins for Nicolai Budkov Kjaer and Viktor Durasovic.
