cinch Championships 2023: Holger Rune joins star-studded line-up at the Queen's Club

• 2 MINUTE READ

Eight of the world’s top 20 male tennis players have been announced today on the entry list for the cinch Championships taking place at the Queen’s Club, 19-25 June.

Denmark’s Holger Rune, who has vaulted to a career high ranking of No.6 this week following a run to the final at the ATP Masters 1000 in Rome this past weekend, joins the international stars already confirmed, including world No.2 Carlos Alcaraz.

2022 Paris Masters champion Rune said: “I’m really excited to make my debut at the cinch Championships this year, so many great players have won this tournament so I can’t wait to get to London and compete on the grass-courts there.”

Tickets for this year’s cinch Championships sold out, faster than any previous year recorded, meaning capacity crowds of 10,000+ for each day.

Cam Norrie, last year’s Wimbledon semi-finalist leads the British names among the direct entries, joined by Dan Evans and Andy Murray, with four wild cards to be announced in due course.

Tournament Director, Luiz Carvalho said: “The LTA’s cinch Championships has attracted a stellar line-up this year to compete at the Queen’s Club. Fans can look forward to some next-gen talent like Alcaraz, Rune, Fritz and Tiafoe along with former champions Murray, Berrettini and Cilic.  It promises to be our most exciting event yet as we look forward to adding another chapter in the event’s illustrious history."
