Tennis beginnings

Searle first started playing tennis at Wolverhampton Lawn Tennis and Squash Club at the age of two as he wanted to be ale to play with his older brother.

Searle fell in love with sport quickly due to how challenging it was, and the mindset of knowing that winning or losing was entirely down to him.

In 2023, he made history by becoming the first British boys' singles champion at Wimbledon for 61 years, beating junior world No.7 Yaroslav Demin 6-4, 6-4 in the final.

A year later, he decided to take the plunge and go professional. He felt like turning pro was a natural progression to keep pursuing it at the highest level he could.
