Three of the world’s top 20 players are set to join defending champion Carlos Alcaraz at the 2024 cinch Championships at The Queen’s Club, as tickets go on general sale.

World No.7 Holger Rune, 2023 runner-up Alex de Minaur and former US Open semi-finalist Frances Tiafoe have all been announced as the latest players to join the star-studded line-up of ATP stars who will contest the cinch Championships title in June.

Australia’s de Minaur has already broken new ground this season, having reached a career-high ranking of world No.9 following a runner-up finish at the ABN AMRO Open in Rotterdam, reaching the fourth round at the Australian Open and defeating world No.1 Novak Djokovic to take his country to the United Cup semi-finals.

The 25-year-old has a strong record on grass having won the Rothesay International Eastbourne in 2021 and finishing runner-up to Alcaraz in a thrilling final at the Queen's Club last year.

Danish star Rune made a strong statement on his tournament debut last year, having reached the semi-finals. Despite the grass surface being unfamiliar territory, Rune backed up his impressive performances at the cinch Championships with a quarter-final appearance at The Championships, Wimbledon and could be tipped for another standout run upon his return.

At just 20-years-old, he has already featured as high as world No.4 in the ATP rankings and boasts four titles - including the Paris Masters in 2022.

Meanwhile, Tiafoe has tasted title-winning success of his own on the grass and will be another one to watch this summer. The American has three ATP titles to his name, with his most recent coming on the grass courts at the Stuttgart Open, where he defeated Jan-Lennard Struff 4-6, 7-6(1), 7-6(8) in the final. Tiafoe is also a past champion of the Rothesay Open Nottingham - lifting the title back in 2021.

Of the three players, Tiafoe is the only one to have played in a major semi-final at his home Grand Slam in New York back in 2022.

Other British and international representation in the draw will be confirmed at a later date, with the full entry list confirmed week commencing 20 May.

The announcement comes as cinch Championships 2024 tickets go on general sale at 10:00 on Tuesday 27 February.
