Coaching Conference: Ellen Jones and Matt Smith Session - the Lowdown

The Tennis Wales Coaching Conference returns this year, taking place at Cardiff Metropolitan University on 10 and 11 September.

The conference will give coaches the chance to hear from leading lights in their fields, bringing together cutting-edge research and tennis expertise. Sessions will be interactive and coaches will be able to engage in discussions, problems-solving, and expert-led demonstrations. The content will be applicable to all, with fundamental principles that you will be able to use in your coaching. It is about you and your coaching. It is also a great opportunity for coaches to come together again, and network, following the Covid-19 pandemic.

For more information, and to book please click here. Make sure you take advantage of the Early-bird offer of £99 if you book by 31 August.

Also, take a look at this video Ellen Jones, Programme Director of the Sport, Physical Education and Health degree at Cardiff Metropolitan University, that gives an insight into the session she and Matt Smith, the LTA Coaching and Learning Manager, will be delivering at the Tennis Wales Coaching Conference. They will examine why we become tennis coaches and what attributes we value.
