New Competition Announced for South Wales Club Champions

We are excited to launch a brand-new tournament in partnership with Cymru Kitchens Ltd. Champion of Champion's Weekend in Partnership with Cymru Kitchens Ltd is open to doubles Club Champions from venues across South Wales, who will battle it out to be crowned the ultimate Champion of Champions.
The inaugural event will take place on Sat 12th - Sun 13th Sept at Llandaff Fields in Cardiff. The tournament welcome clubs’ Men’s, Women’s, and Mixed Doubles Champions to compete. The event aims to celebrate the very best of grassroots tennis, showcasing top-performing players from clubs across South Wales.

Beyond the on-court action, the event will feature complimentary food and drink for players, prize money for the winners, and an opportunity to meet the team from Cymru Kitchens. Spectators are very much encouraged to come along throughout the weekend and cheer on the players.
The winners of each event will also receive a £100 voucher for their home venue to spend on tennis equipment and resources. The tournament will act as a pilot for similar, accessible competitions that could be introduced across other areas of Wales in the future.
Entries open on 1st July, with clubs encouraged to enter one pair per event from either their 2025 or 2026 Club Championships.
